I am new to shooting and this scope is really simple and takes the guess work out of where to sight in the target. I first started at 25 yards then moved to 50 yards. In my NRA Basic Rifle class the next day, I was able to hit the target at 100 yards. I have never shot that distance before. I just lined up the 100 yard mark in the scope and was able to hit the paper. Remember I am new to shooting.
