magpul quality is always grewt

Written on Apr 10, 2020

Put this mount on a magpul stock for my Ruger American 308 bolt rifle . If I recall everything is made of metal (steel) so don’t worry bout anything cracking or snapping in half . Made just like a front sight post sling mount on a Ar

some of the best QD mounts out there in my opinion

Written on Apr 10, 2020

I have the 1” ultra high mounts for my Nikon P223x32 on my AR-15 so I though these would be good to go on a Ruger American 308 magpul edition rifle . Using these 30mm versions with a primary arms mil dot ffp 4-14x44 scope . They are ultra high but sit not to high but not too low on the rifle which has a heavy barrel on it to note , if I ever wanted to upgrade optics on both rifles I can simply slap the scope with the mounts on my ar amd it sits perfectly and clears my magpul rear buis . Great quality and hold snug .

entry level optic for long rang shooting

Written on Apr 10, 2020

As a Marine (0311) I’m dipping into the world of long range shooting , after much contemplation I decided this optic would be best FOR ME to learn the craft , haven’t used the optic yet but based off others reviews I think I can say this is a good buy and lookin forward to dial it in , if you too wanna get into long range shooting this would be a great entry level optic if you think like me . It’s a mildot in ffp and ample amount of magnification and light gathering . I’m no sniper but am looking into training to be one (0317) (scout sniper) so that a lot to do why I got it , it ain’t no scmidt amd Bender but the quality of primary arms is great for the average “Merican” to learn the craft . Just my two cents worth .
