So far this mount has been great. Awesome QD scope mount for the money. Currently have it holding a 1-10x lpvo on ar15 rifle. Mounted easy and seems to lock up good and hold a solid zero. I don't understand why some of these other mounts are so expensive, name or not, qd or not, with options like this available, there is no need to spend several hundred on any mount itself. Highly recommend and will buy one or more again.
These pouches worked pretty good from the start when new, but after about a year of moderate use, they begin to loosen up and fray. They are way overpriced for what you get. Maybe $5 worth of material and can't imagine they take any longer than 10 minutes to make. There is potential to lose mags while using these and placing mags back into the pouch can be difficult.
Hogue makes great products. I've enjoyed everything I have ever bought from them. The rubber overmold texture is great especially in wintertime with gloves. Won't slip out of your hands like oil finished wood can.
Have used this stock for a couple years now. Haven't been at war, digging holes, or breaking down doors with this stock, but I believe it to be an excellent value for the price. Unfortunate to see they only have the 2 most standard colors available right now. The price and the unique mixed match color options(FDE/BLACK) were originally what appealed to me and made me decide to try this particular brand. Also have a slim B5 sopmod bravo on a different rifle, but prefer this style with the storage and extended cheek weld. The J&E stock finish is a little "rougher around the edges" than B5, and other more expensive options, but is half the price. It is still made of the same exact rugged materials. Fit is fine, I don't believe it to be anywhere near too loose. Pretty much every adjustable stock I have ever used has some degree of wobble in it's function, especially as they get older and more used. I painted the rifle the stock is on, so that helps eliminate any play, but regardless, the stock works great and locks up tight on the shortest setting. The storage tubes WILL fit cr-123 batteries, but quite tightly. Sanding down the inside of the tubes would help, or can just take the labels off of the batteries for a much better fit. I do not have an issue getting the batteries out, just tap the tube upside down on a hard surface several times. Better a tight fit than rattling batteries. I recommend giving this stock a try.
