I have bought many of the cheap swivels on EBay and they will literally pull out of the mount without pressing the button. These are strong and rugged and will not let you down. I highly recommend these over the cheap imatations.

Adams Arms piston kit

The piston conversion kit is the only way to go. The internals of your weapon will appreciate the gas free/carbonless environment this kit provides along with your cleaning of the weapon will speed up considerably. I find that MOE hand guard covers offer a very easy fix to just the standard hand guards provided with the kit. It does take about 20-30 minutes to do the conversion, but it is absolutely worth the time involved. The heat alone that the regular gas impingement creates is enormous compared to this kit which saves the life of your weapon. I highly recommend this conversion kit and it extremely well made with quality parts.
