Timney Triggers never disappoints

I have been using Timney triggers in rifles for years. Decided to try this trigger in a Glock 19 clone. Amazing difference. Nice clean break. Easy installation, with the only tricky part being installation of the clip that secures trigger to the housing. A pair of tweezers made it a lot easier.

Bought a couple of these for AR15. When mag latch bottoms out in blind hole there is too much travel possible and mag latch drops out of slot when releasing mag. Tried on two different lowers, an Aero and a SOLGW. Also tried with two different mag latches, an Aero and a Geissele and the buttons don’t pull down far enough before bottoming out the blind hole. They do work ok on a couple of Aero M5 308 lowers

I wanted some of the old style straight 20rd mags for my carry handle AR-15 M16A1 carbine copy cat.

The gas block itself is good, only problem is that it comes with cup point set screws. Luckily, I keep spare knurl point screws in my parts stash. Knurl points grab the steel much better than cup points.

Finish on the hand-guard was good with no burrs or scratches. Easy install with no difficulty clearing BCM low profile gas block. Top rail matched up perfectly with top rail on BCM upper receiver.
