The problem with this thing is it won’t align the buffer tube with you upper receiver. I have two of there, the first one I had no problem with. The second one I noticed a bare metal rub on the back of my bcg where it’s hitting the buffer tube. I looked into why this is happening and basically the hinged part is not perfectly aligned with the anchored part. But there doesn’t seem to be a way to fix that. If there was a screw that could be tightened or loosened to tweak it that’d be what it needs, but there isn’t. After just one mag I have a pretty significant ware mark on my buffer tube and rear on the bcg, this thing is going to have to come off. I wanted this to work, but not if it’s going to destroy my system.

Rattles on standard Picatinny

FAB Defense PTK Ergonomic Pointing Grip
Very loose fitting, to the point it just jiggles around on standard 1913 Picatinny rail. It makes me wonder if FAB Defense just decided to use the same mold they use for their M-lok version of this which is rubber overmolded, and just left it in the small dimensions. Because this thing isn’t even close to fitting properly. It’s like FAB is trying to tell the Picatinny rail crowd that they don’t want our business anymore. It’s a great piece, and it’s not like it falls off, the rail, it’s just not fitted. Why couldn’t the just make it fit snug? They’re other grips fit snug.
