I have this on my SW 17-5 revolver. After 200+ rds: Con: dot is not precise but shows flaring and starbursting at useful intensities. Controls are awkward; not easy to use. Uses odd battery rather than the ones usually found in other red dots, and, they don’t include a cover. For a few dollars more, My vortex defender ST is a better product with none of the above faults. Pro: larger screen size.

These grips work fine for me, as I have med large hands. I have them on my three ruger mk4s. Easy to install, just don’t over-tighten if your hands sweat then you might use grip tape since they are smooth.
My only problem is OP’s free shipping which is annoying; tracking is problematic at best. Better spend the$ for expedited. They should only offer UPS or USPS Priority and charge; nobody would complain.

The only red dot I’ve used that doesn’t flair. I love the manual controls and the extra 2 reticles. Easy to acquire the dot when you bring up the pistol. The new models improved the intensity control and windage control. I have one on each of my 4 SW revolvers and 2 ruger mk4 autos. I like the additional weight it adds. Particularly easy to use if you’re used to telescopic rifle sights.

I have five of these on my mkIVs and SWs. Only red dot I’ve used that doesn’t ‘starburst’. Love the manual controls for dot size, intensity. And windage/elevation. It’s a bit heavier than the vortex types but I like the xtra weight esp on .38/9mm. revolvers.

This is the only red dot I have used, so far, that does not ‘star burst’. My old eyes see a clear, precise dot every time. The tube design enables me to acquire the dot quickly, every time, compared to the ‘Venom’ type red dots which can take time just finding the dot. No winder top bullseye shooters favor this red dot. I have four of them on my .22 Target pistols. I like the additional weight on my pistols; holds onto the bull steadier.

Arguably, this is the best pistol red dot out there. It has a larger profile than most but it works for me on my Ruger mk4 22/45. It’s dot stays intact and solid rather than starburst which I get from most other red dots. I like the mechanical controls for dot size, intensity, windage and elevation. That’s why I own two of them.

This is my second Argos HMR which I put on my Ruger precision.22 which I use primarily offhand at 25yds. Particularly like the 50mm objective for more light input and it’s 3-4? Moa size Target dot. Usually prefer the dot black rather than illuminated. Holds zero consistently. Definitely a quality build.
