Better than the factory plate

Smith and Wesson uses a great optic mounting system by utilizing only one pair of screws to secure the optic, unlike Glock which requires two sets of screws. Unfortunately, S&W uses plastic filler plates, and that’s where these aluminum plates come in. I’ve used these plates on two M&Ps and they have held up so far, without anything coming loose. Just torque the screws to 15in lbs, and you’re good to go. These plates also look much better than factory ones. Highly recommend!

Best budget high power scope

I purchased this Athlon Helios First Focal Plane scope for a budget precision build based on the many positive reviews on YouTube. This is a fantastic scope for the price. Glass quality is great, the turrets are superb and the focus adjustment is very smooth. The illuminated reticule is perfect for long range shooting. My only complaint is the illumination knob is smaller than my other scopes, but really isn’t an issue unless you’re wearing gloves. Also, Athlon is an American-based company, but unfortunately their products are made in Asia.

Maglula LULA SMG Magazine Speed Loader
This is the second Maglula mag loader I’ve purchased and this one works like a charm, too. This little device definitely makes loading Colt stick mags faster and easier than just loading by hand. Seems fairly rugged and it’s small size allows it to fit in my gun case or range bag. Highly recommend!
Better than sunscreen

This HUK long sleeve performance hoodie is a great addition to any summer fishing apparel. Not only is it comfortable, but looks and feels good, too. It’s better than having to apply greasy, messy sunscreen. Highly recommend!
Best AK red dot mount I’ve tried to date

I purchased this Midwest Industries AK mount after trying other mounts from AK Master and RS Regulate and I have to say this one is my favorite. Fit and finish is perfect. More importantly, the mount slides on and off the rifle easily and stays tight when secured. I also like the fact when using the red dot the iron sights are low enough to not be in way to clutter your sight picture. Highly recommend!
Perfect scope for a .22LR hunting rifle

I purchased this scope to replace an old scope on a Marlin Model 60. The BDC reticle is easy to use and the turrets can be adjusted without tools. The magnification adjustment is fairly smooth, a little tight. Philippine-made glass is good for a budget scope. Fit and finish is very good. I recommend using Leupold Rimfire High scope rings to mount this scope for proper height. For the price this scope is hard to beat.

Blue Force Gear Vickers AK Sling
I’ve purchased multiple Blue Force Gear Vicker Slings, and every one has met my expectations. Very lightweight, easy to use and manipulate and not that expensive. The fabric and hardware seems sturdy. I also like the different color options. One negative: the front loop that attaches to the barrel isn’t great and recommend replacing it with the optional Uloop. It makes removing and reattaching the sling so much easier, and looks better, too.
Much better than the factory trigger.

TANDEMKROSS Victory Trigger
The Taurus TX22 is a great rimfire pistol. There’s not much to complain about it other than the trigger. The factory plastic trigger has a ton of slack, followed by a nice light break and then a fair amount to reset. This Victory trigger retains the nice break, but allows the shooter to greatly reduce amount of take-up and reset travel. Feels much smoother than the factory trigger as well.
The only negative feature about this trigger is the necessity of removing the trigger to make adjustments. Installation isn’t difficult, just a little time consuming. Once dialed in though, this trigger is awesome.

Great precision .22LR ammo for a reasonable price

I love this SK ammo. Extremely consistent and reliable .22LR ammo for a reasonable price. Very tight groups averaging from 1.25 -1.5” at 100yds. Groups nearly as good as Eley Tenex and much better than Federal Gold Medal Target and CCI Standard Velocity with my Ruger rifle. No feeding or ejection issues. For the price, this SK Plus is really hard to beat. Highly recommend!
Better than factory installed sights

My Sig Sauer came with the plain white 3-dot night sights and I wanted something better. These Sig X-Ray sights are definitely better! The front sight is easier to pick up during the day due to the bright green outer dot. Also, the front sight appears to have a slightly larger tritium vial than the rear sight which is ideal. Highly recommend!
