Great batteries, great value
Written on May 12, 2018
I use a lot of CR123 batteries, flashlights, weapon lights and cameras. For non-critical uses, I lean toward rechargeables, but for lights on certain weapons, I always use the non-rechargeable lithiums. They claim to have a 10-year shelf life (which I believe but have not tested), and I have yet to have one reach end of life. You can pay more, but I don't think you can get better. I trust Streamlight lights, and I use Streamlight batteries.

Best light available for compact carry guns

Review for
Streamlight TLR-7 Tactical Weapon Light
This is a totally functional compact weapon light. I mounted it on my M&P Pro Series 9mm with the 4.25" barrel, on which I previously had a TLR-1. The TLR-7 is shorter and therefore less subject to muzzle blast. Looks better, too! I like the CR2032 battery, readily available anywhere, and they definitely last. All in all, a great light. Get one - you'll like it. I'm getting another one for my KelTec Sub 000 9mm carbine with an offset rail mount.
