Michael Simi Valley from United States, CA Public Profile
This is my third of these AT3 Foregrips - each in a different color. They are really sturdy and pretty low profile. It's large enough to get a solid grip around or push up against a barricade, but not so large as to get in the way.
I needed a commercial spec buffer tube and a buddy recommended giving this Sniper 6 position tube a try. Couldn't be happier! I matted it with a Hogue Buttstock (also commercial spec) and the fit between the two is perfect. This Sniper buffet tube is very well made and dimensionally perfect.
I've installed a few of these and they work just fine. This last batch, probably because they were out of stock and rushed to ship, were not perfectly machined and the groove (for the roll pin) was too small. Not a big deal; a little rat tail file work to open it up and now it fits okay.
I replaced a Sightron 10-50X60 with this beautiful Athlon Ares ETR. Nothing wrong with the Sightron, but the Athlon will be better for this particular application. The clarity of this Athlon rivals my $4,000 Vortex Razor and I much prefer the Athlons MOA reticle in FFP. (Note OP threw my comment in the APRS1 reticle, but mine is actually the APLR5 reticle).
I placed this Athlon on a 6.5CM Savage 110 Elite Precision that I'll typically shoot from 100yd to 800yd and every 100 yards between. It is rare that I get to shoot the 1,000yd target, but this Athlon will most certainly handle the task.
I have a couple of the 407-c in Red and based upon their performance I decide to pick up this Green dot version. My mistake, I should have checked, but it is not equipped with the same reticles - Dot, Circle, Dot in Circle as my other 407-c in Red. Only only offers a single 2MOA Green dot. Not the end of the world, although I would have preferred having all three reticles.
Overall the build quality and reliability are fantastic and the Shake Awake feature is awesome. I have not seen another high-end red dot optic that uses a solar panel either.
The only reason I buy Glocks is to make them better. I loved how well this Slide fits! As it's a 34 Slide the balance, thanks to the forward cut outs, is perfect; just a tad muzzle heavier - which helps on reducing muzzle lift. The machining of the slide is one of the best I've seen and overall the quality and workmanship is obvious. I decided to go with a Comp on this build; an Agency Arms 417 and it fits perfectly with this Zaffiri slide.
