Glad that the Germans finally came up with a static mount combo solution here. The mount slips onto my G17 under-barrel Pic smoothly and locks positively with a solid Click! Perfectly fitting - and taking off is by simply pressing the release button. Awesome. Never understood folks mounting a reflex sight onto the kicking slider. Learned to double tap targets as a youngster - need to see the darn dot during the stage. So even during rapid fire, my crisp and bright dot is staying on target. This static mount combo will find many followers among the Pros out there!

This wasn't cheap, but seems to make the difference at the range. Got the high-mag 30mil Zeiss scope to the tight groups that I was used to in the late 1990s :-) With this extremely well built MAK mount, I finally fixed the weakest link in my set-up. The best ammo, best rifle and ammo is nothing without such a mount that holds zero under hot loads. Lots of money spent on this mount - while money saved: on Hornady ammo. Seriously - the built quality, fit and finish is worth the price.
