Heard a lot of good things about the ZEV, after having some mixed experience with some other aftermarket triggers, I decided to give it a go. Did the full Ultimate Trigger install, but while,doing the function check, racking the slide, pulling the trigger and holding it to the rear, racking the slide again, then releasing the trigger, and instead of getting a reset, the striker released, not good. Called up the folks at ZEV, they assured me it was a bad connector, and they sent me a new one. Once it arrived, I installed the new striker, and got the same malfunction. I reinstalled the OEM trigger group and the gun operated normally. A trip,to the range verified proper operation of the OEM trigger reinstall. YMMV, but for me, I am staying with OEM internals for all of my personal carry weapons, as Imhave never had an OEM pistol suffer a malfunction. The alleged improvement these non OEM internal parts propose aren't merited due to their lack of reliability...
