I put on this scope and took it off 2 times even was going to return it. I put it on for 3rd time still not convinced it would work on my Marlin 45-70. So I decided to give it a far chance. Easily zero so I kept shooting 16 rounds through it t go e scope has preformed so far great just see how long it works. For the money I don’t believe you will be able to beat it. I even bought the vortex scout scope for my 45-70 and it I s still in the box
