A good deal on decent binoculars

Review for
Leupold Rogue 8x42mm Binoculars
Bought these to replace the Leupold Cascades that I gave to my daughter. Optics are very close the Cascades, the only differences that stood out were size - the Rogues are a bit wider than the Cascades but about the same weight. That is the main reason I kept the Rogues and let my daughter have the Cascades, she is quite small and the smaller format is easier for her to carry/use.
The other difference is depth of field. The Rogue have less depth which means a bit more fiddling with the focus. Not a problem for me, but some folks might not like it.
All in all, a very good deal on a nice pair of binoculars. Hard to beat for the money.
