I have had this scope for about a year. its been mounted on 2 different rifles so far and is currently on top of a ruger precision 308. it works fantastic. I shoot often and am just amazed that this low priced scope is this good. this scope has been very reliable and the glass is super clear just like all nikon stuff. at 500 yards shooting steel it has been great but as I get out farther and am starting to do more precision shooting I may upgrade to higher end vortex just to get out to 1000 yards plus. but I will put this scope on a different rifle and continue to use it. the only thing I would like on this scope would be an adjustable parallax but its on the Nikon M series equivalent and for the cost its really no big deal! I believe its set at 100 yds and I haven't really noticed it even out to 300.

I've had this scope for about 2 years, unfortunately I didn't buy it from optics planet though. I have this mounted to my sig516 and it works flawlessly. the glass is so clear I leave my spotting scope home and use this to spot my 308 and friends shots. the adjustable parallax is spot on. at 100 yards i'm able to do 1" groups consistently and I've shot out to 500 yards without a problem, especially when using the Nikon "spot on" app. sure it's kind of like cheating but it's a great way to get a cold bore firing solution rather quickly and without breaking out the calculator and ballistic charts. the drop compensator marks have hold overs set up perfectly as well. I find no need to bother upgrading this as it really is great as it is, especially for an AR15. I would highly recommend buying this scope.
