I don't write to many reviews, but, I thought I should on this. OpticsPlant has all the parts you can imagine. And the shipping, pricing is always good.
This quad rail looks good and is sturdy. But, it has some issues. Barrel nut is aluminum for one, and is kinda flimsy. It's also difficult to get everything lined up,
a lot of attachment point to line up at once. Lined it all up. My problem with the hand guard is that the end cap pushes on the barrel, like the hand guard is not
straight. Which makes the sight picture off for iron sights. And if I use it, I will have to enlarge the end cap so it does't contact the barrel. Also this is a UTG Quad Rail
must be a second, because it's unbranded. This is my first Quad Rail, not my first hand guard installation.

Great Lakes .875 gas block

Hole for gas tube is to large. Let’s gas leak past tube. Installed but leaked to much to run BCG. Thought would be ok after roll pin was installed but no leaks to much. Guess you get what you pay for. This block was half the price of others.

Review for
Diamondhead VRS Versa Base
Perfect fit on my Ruger AR-556. Removed the original parts and installed a new gas block, and this forearm. For a first timer it didn't take long at all. Everything was shipped in a timely matter. And all parts where as advertised. Price was the best I could find.
Yankee Hill Gas Block

Fit was perfect, and was easy to change. Installed it on my Ruger AR-556. 1st time changing parts on my AR-15. This part was very easy to change. Gas block was as described. Fit was good under the Diamondhead VRS Vera base forearm I installed it under.
