Midwest Industries handguard

This handguard is sturdy and lightweight, and completely modernized my carbine. I went with the 15" version to cover all but the last inch of my 16" barrel. There is a minimal weight difference from the magpul drop in handguard, delta ring and factory railed gas block setup I had on before. I selected the Aim Sports low profile gas block to go under this guard, and there is plenty of clearance. The only con I can think of, is that some M-lok accessories have slightly longer screws that can hit the gas block before tightening up (ask me how I know) due to the slim nature of this handguard so you have to be conscious of where the screws line up on your accessories.

Low profile gas block

Not much to say, but that's probably a good thing. Installed on my DPMS AR in 5.56, perfect fit and everything lines up. Fits under my Midwest Industries Slimline freefloat handguard. Rifle cycles just as it did with the factory block.
