I also added a gas block to my gun and with both combined the gun runs much smoother. the gas to face is severely reduced. Basically it works very well as far as I can tell.

Have not shot thousands of rounds, but was able to easily tune the gun to where it needed to be. Much less recoil, proper ejection.
There is no riser!!!

The optic works great, nice crisp dot. I like it a lot. However, it is pictured with a riser. when I got it it had no riser. when I checked my order it said no riser. If I had known I would have purchased one with a riser.
