4 instead of 5 because I have not shot with it installed yet. The lockup on the rail seems very solid. The rings feel solid as well. I appreciate that the screws came with blue loctite already applied. Used 10in/lbs for scope rings as instructed on the box. Tightened the base by hand. I chose this mount for my primary arms opmod scope that needed a little extra clearance between the rings. This mount provided that clearance. The distance between the rings is 3.1 inches.

I had this 308 designated scope on my Saint Victor AR-10. Had it installed with high mount scope rings. Looked great! Took it to the range. Few times this summer. It probably has just under 200 rounds. I noticed the last time I finished at the range that the reticle seemed off. I went home and checked it with a level. The levels checked out fine. Took it back to the gunsmith who installed it. He checked the leveling of the scope and it read fine. After further analysis he realized that the reticle had canted. It rotated slightly in the counter clockwise direction. As of right now, I have contacted Primary Arms to see about repairing the scope’s reticle. It is beyond the return period with Optics Planet, otherwise I would have just returned it. Not a lot of time to shoot, I wish the return policy was a little longer with OP. If you bought this scope and it works for you, it has the potential to be a great buy.

You can feel the quality of this product. I don’t know if it was the spring and detent or the hole of where they’re captured on the lower, but the install of this pivot pin was EASY and TOOL-LESS. I really like that this pin protrudes a bit on the left side of the lower, slightly more than the others I own. This makes it very easy to push the pin own during removal. Highly recommend this pivot pin and other CMMG lower parts! I just wish that more pivot pins would come with the spring and detents, for us in CA who use a kingpin we don’t need the pin set, just the front pin usually.

I really like this product because it does not add substantial volume to the rail and still provides adequate texture for added grip. They snap into place no problem and if you need to trim the strip down, you can trim them with common house scissors. I like a slim rail and this helps to maintain the benefits of a slim rail and adds a significant amount of texture. They are also pleasing aesthetically.

I think the product will work for some setups. It was not stout enough for my PCC 9. It cycles quick and is pretty snappy, but it does not reduce the recoil as much as my H5 buffer and Sprinco Orange buffer spring. It’s not that difficult to install with the retainer pin kept in if you want to try it out and are unsure if it will be better than your current buffer setup. It’s worth a try, it is a neat product.

Safety was easy to install. Both sides of the safety are the same length. Comes with its own detent and spring. Switches smoothly but is not audible at all. It’s is very quiet when switched. The screw for the ambi lever is very robust.

Charging handle is sleek. Had issues with other charging handles snagging, but this one is sleek enough to where snagging isn’t an issue. The color is great. Construction is solid. Even though it is the micro version it is still easy enough to grab the handle. Overall a great buy!

Way brighter than expected! Major upgrade from the 3 white dot stock sights! Definitely makes picking up targets outdoors faster and easier! Would highly recommend this product to XD users! Gives a great sight picture.

Trigger is very reliable and super crisp! The reset is noticeably audible and tactile! This is a major upgrade to my AR9 build, so much better than a standard milspec trigger! This trigger is also a major upgrade is aesthetics! The feel of the flat trigger face. Very easy to install and the antiwalk pins are excellent!

I built a Aero EPC 9 with a PSA upper. The recoil was fairly sharper than expected. I used the H3 buffer and stock 308 spring that came with the original buffer system purchased. I then upgraded the buffer to this product and a Sprinco Orange Spring. That combo has significantly lowered the recoil and has helped to smooth out the action of the gun. I would highly recommend this product if you are using a straight blowback system.
