First range day complete. Torqued to spec and blue loctite they held solid, and provided a great zero. However, coming out of the package they were immediately noticeable dings through the coating to the base metal. The front ring had a sharp edge from poor machining that would have dug into the scope. I cleaned it up with a file and mounted it anyways. Cosmetics issues dont bother me, glad I cleaned up the edge before trying to mount to the new scope. Great for what they are, just a little surprised Leupold put their name on them.
