I have this mounted in my center console, plugged up to the cigarette lighter charger. The mount is tight enough that it doesn't wiggle loose off the charger. It's bright, heavy duty, and has always been ready to go when needed. I can't comment on battery life, typically I use it for 10-15 minutes then it goes right back on the charger.

I used this kit with an Aero Precision lower and everything fit nice and snug. I used a Radian ambi safety so I can't speak to how this one works, but nothing bad to say about the kit. Really wish they sold a version of this kit without the safety since that's a part a lot people upgrade anyway.

Magnets are strong enough to hold everything in place, but still easy to open one handed. I’m an engineer in a manufacturing plant & carry/use this everyday. The only downside I’ve experienced is when I use it around small metal shavings, those can get on the magnets & it’s difficult to get clean afterwards, just be conscious of that & you’ll be ok though.
