If you own a Kel-Tec, this is the best mounting platform I know of, from all my research, to use with it. The reason being that you MUST keep the whole red dot combo at under 2 oz in order to obtain adequate shell ejection from the chamber after firing. If the red dot does weigh more than a couple oz then it becomes too much of a drag on the ejection. Having 30 rounds is just great....if your ejection/loading systems are properly functioning. Those 4 screws up top on the pmr was never intended to provide a mount for a red dot or any other sight, due to this 2 oz weight restriction I suspect, but it certainly works great when you follow the rules, but not so great if you don't. mjm
