Review for
VG6 Precision EPSILON 556SL Muzzle Brake
This muzzle brake is great. Being in NJ, I have to pin any muzzle device to my barrels…this allows NJ to discourage illegal use of suppressors. This brake comes predrilled for a pin. On top of that, it’s 0.745” in diameter, so if you need to take the gas block off for any reason, the block carefully slides right off over the brake without having to drill out the pin and redo it afterwards. Anyone in a state that needs their muzzle device permanently attached, I’d highly recommend this!! Love all Aero Precision products!!!

This works, but you have to bubba the batteries a little. When I first got it, I installed the batteries and the laser would not light. If I fiddled with the battery cap a little as I was screwing it on, the laser would come on momentarily but would go out once screwed down all the way. I ended up having to snap off the little piece inside the battery cap, install the batteries, then place a small piece of metal on top of the batteries…I cut off a small piece of an unused blind rivot… then screwed the battery cap all the way down and it finally worked. All that said, find another brand!!!

I know these seem a little pricey, but they are definitely worth every penny!! The Radian Talon (and their Raptor charging handle) are far superior than any other I’ve tried! Can be set up as 45 or 90 degree, ambi or normal, and if you set it up as ambi, if you use the smaller of the two levers on you trigger finger side, it doesn’t hit your hand/finger when you go from safe to fire (unlike others I’ve tried). I have these on every AR I own and won’t use anything else anymore! They’re very easy to flip from safe to fire and back, but still has a very positive and secure detent. The levers are slightly a pain to get on the first time (even using the included tool), but after the first time, it’s a breeze. Spend the money!! You won’t be disappointed!

I love these safeties!! I use them on all my ARs. I love that you can do 45 or 90 degree. And they are very easy to flip back and forth. On top of that, you can use the short or long lever…or both (one on each side) for ambi controls. I put the long on the left and short on the right so the longer lever doesn’t hit my trigger hand. They aren’t the cheapest, but IMO, they are well worth the money! Only downside, with some triggers, you have to remove the trigger to get it in all the way. Maybe I’m doing something wrong?? But I’ve had difficulties with non mil triggers. Other than that, GREAT PRODUCT! And love Optics Planet, keep up the great work and outstanding customer service!

Bought this for my home built 18” .223 Wylde build. When I received it, I quickly noticed that it had a cracked lens inside in two different places. I called OpticsPlanet and they were great about returning it and sending me a new one. Once the second one arrived, I mounted, leveled, and zeroed it in. Went to the range for final adjustments and it is NICE!! Holds zero with no problem after several hundred rounds I shot that day. Haven’t used it again since then, but reading other reviews, I’m confident it will hold up great! I’d highly recommend!! Only thing I’d change at this point, I should have gone with the 1-8 instead of the 1-6, but 6x should be plenty for what I’m using it for.
