Perfect fit and replacement for a grip screw paired with the Chinese checkered grips. Not much else to say besides it worked fine. When screwed in tightly, the threads are nearly flush with the grip screw base inside the receiver.

Not only is this a fat/wide grip version of the infamously hard to find Chinese checkered grip, but it also matched my stock Mak 90 handguards quite well. Sure, it’s a touch more blonde than it is orange, but overall a very good purchase at a competitive price. Why try and buy on the second hand market for more when you can just buy it here? Side note: this does come with the grip screw spacer/washer, so you do not need to purchase one separately. It however does NOT come with the grip screw.

The title says it all. It’s comfy, form fitting, with good texture. It’s like an A2 grip without the obnoxious finger nub. It fees slightly uniformly thicker than the A2, but does not affect me at all. There is a nice “beaver tail” type extension that fits the web of your hand nicely too. The grip storage may be a plus for some, but won’t be used by me.

What else needs to be said that hasn’t already been said? It’s made by Magpul, so you know it’s duty ready, light weight, and comes with an expected level of quality. I mounted this on a very heavy PTR-91 and it was incredibly stable, secure, and added a lot of easier handling to what is an abnormally long rifle. The texture is rough enough to provide enough grip, but not too rough to hurt your baby soft hands. Of course, I always appreciate the factory lock tite on the included screws too.

This was used to replace an old Magpul MOE I had on my duty rifle. The MOE over the years had become loose and woobly to the point of needing electrical tape around the buffer tube to help minimize the shaking. In comes the B5 systems stock. Compared to the enhanced version which is a lot thicker and a little heavier and has the removable storage, this more basic B5 SOPMOD style stock is slim with just the right amount of increased cheek weld for a much needed upgrade without adding unneeded bulk/weight. In terms of lockup, the first time mounting it on my rifle I had to take off all the years of electrical tape shims from the buffer tube, and actually mortar the stock on while holding down the adjustment lever just because the fit was so tight. It is overall very comfortable, very tight, and was a great buy. Keep in mind however, it is a slightly different shade from Magpul OD Green.
