Works if you know its limitations
Written on Jul 31, 2024
What are its limitations you ask. Well, it is made of plastic or some polymer material. The upper blocks are a bit flexible when torquing a barrel nut. It does work at reasonable torque specification. You may want to add a C style clamp at the top of the two sections so that it does not spread apart. It does not fit an A1 or A2 style upper with the carry handle. I was not paying attention to this when I purchased it. I used it on an A4 style upper first. So, I used the lower mag block for the carry handle uppers, and it worked without breaking off in the vise. It did flex a bit, but it got the job done. No complaints for the price paid.

Good scope for the price

It is a bit small, but it works fine at close range, and this is why I bought it. It works at longer distances, but it has a small field of view and no magnification. If the covers irritate you then they come off easily.

Better than most, but not the best

Review for
UTG Pro AR-15 A2 Fixed Stock Assembly
I bought this after reading a lot of reviews. It seemed to be the best choice of many others out there. I needed the entire buffer assembly, so it looked to be a good package for the price. While it may work and be of sturdier construction than the others available it looks like fecal waste! I know another purchaser of this stock and his is just as crappy looking. So, if you do not mind the mold line or the hack shading around the lower swivel area then the stock does work. I am not able to post a picture, but this stock does not look like any sales pictures UTG shows online. Even the pictures on their website make it look perfect. I plan to sand it down a bit to break up the way it looks and call it the used and weathered look.

Appears to be a generic part

There is absolutely no Armalite part number or name anywhere on this part. It came in a foam wrapper with a number on it. One would guess it is the item number from whomever made it. The rear sight elevation is off to one side and does not move parallel to the frame. This looks like the cheaper version for sale on the web site. If I paid $30 like the others, then I would expect the poor quality. I paid $120 for an Armalite part. I returned it for a refund.
