$600 Thermal
Written on Oct 28, 2023
To say "low end" on a device costing $600 seems inaccurate, but given the cost of other night vision equipment I guess it is correct?
For some, this might be just want they need. While it allows you to see thermally, there are significant downsides. The image is small, the clarity is marginal, and there is too much magnification IMHO to scan your area of interest. If you need thermal, I suggest spending more and getting a high end device. If you are interested in the novelty of thermal, and are satisfied with modest functionality, then this is the unit for you. I returned the device, and purchased a higher end night vision/IR device that had broader functionality that suited my needs. Everyone has diffrent needs, so I recommend you really think about what your needs are before purchasing unless you are able to afford both thermal and IR.
