I purchased this as a day-to-day pack walking and day trips. It is large enough to carry all the essentials, without being too large. It has enough pockets to keep items organized. I have not had it long, so I cannot speak to durability, but it seems well made. I like the ability to attach some items using the side molle points. For a light pack I think it would be an excellent option.
