Great Economical Red Dot for Sig 365 Macro
Written on Apr 19, 2023
I bought this on the recommendation from a very helpful worker at a local gun shop. It fit on my Sig Macro perfectly without any mounting plate necessary. The sight came with 2 sets of screws; I was able to use one set for my Sig. I used blue Loctite and a torque wrench as recommended.
The sight stayed tight during sight-in. Have put about 75 rounds thru it and seems to work great.
Pluses:
- The side battery access is great. Didn't want to remove sight to replace battery.
- 6 moa dot. Thought this would be too big (I prefer 2 moa on my rifles). But this size works great for pistol distances.
- Built in "sight notch" actually allows me to use the tip of my front sight and the notch, if battery went dead, etc.
For the Sig 365 series, this seems to be a great pic for red dot.
