Item was ready to go and I waited 6 months to have it in my hands. Kinda crazy!

They’re fine, but the original image of the product I ordered over six months ago looks nothing like what I got. I try to always preset in stock, and I would suggest everyone else do the same. My mistake, I know better from other’s reviews.

I liked it, but the biscuits stayed at a consistency of what I imagine hardtack is. Good, just wasn’t easily eaten without a lot of jaw work.

I really like the look and feel of this buttstock. I haven't had it in the heat yet, but it does conduct the ambient temperature which is different than plastic. Install for me involved taking both screws all the way out, not just the back one, probably a me issue. It really completed the look of my rifle and the aggressive texturing on the back makes for a secure lockup on my shoulder. I run a red dot on top of my scope for the rifle this buttstock is on and there is plenty of buttstock to adjust the rifle one my shoulder for different eye box holds. I could see it getting really hot if left out in the sun or if the temperatures got super cold(not so much hot but it sticking to an unshaven face.), but a bandana or something similar wrapped around it would solve that issue. I think the largest issue is the lack of MFT making buttpads or cheekrisers.

It did take some Dremel work to round off and flatten the ears on the gas block. Took less than 15 minutes. Take a little off, fit, rinse repeat until it fits snugly and then drive that roll pin in. I took off my large side mounted light and am using an inline light instead. Eliminated a huge snag point on my setup. Looks cool.

For some reason I could not find one of these until I checked here on OP. The areo rifle set didn’t ship with one, my psa set did. So I had to spend the extra $ on buy one. What’s up with that? You would think the more premium manufacturer would be all offer that.

This is on a psa lower that is mostly used with grendel magazines. No issues installing, though I’d rather have a detent than a screw for installation purposes but it’s not really an issue.I had no issue with clearance or machining with the one I bought.

This green 2 MOA dot MRO had a dot about 35 MOA. Sent it back and now it’s probably 5-6 MOA. For over $500 and $35 to ship it back to Trijicon it’s just not worth it. I have a bushnell red dot that was $100 that literally functions better than this MRO. I bought this with high hopes and thinking that made in America with a lifetime warranty meant something. Aimpoint and holosun products are in my future :)

I had tried to use a fab defense handguard that just didn’t want to go on no matter what. This handguard however dropped right in and tightly locked up, the screws and some lock tight made sure that it was not going anywhere. Perfect solution for a non freefloated handguard

After a 3 month wait on back order(optics planet was upfront about that) I was sent a broken green dot, probably directly from the factory or with one layover from the distributor. In its foamy hard case, I seriously doubt this unit was damaged during shipping and most likely left the factory never have being checked. I expected a whole lot more from my first Trijicon purchase. This is supposed to be 2 MOA green dot, I’d say it’s more like 65 MOA and shaped like a clock gear or wagon wheel. Up close it would be impossible to see your target. I will update as I deal with Trijicon in an attempt to resolve their broken unit. Maybe Optics Planet could’ve checked too? Though I’m not sure they ever even had possession of it. Huge disappointment and I will probably never buy a sight like this online again.
