After carefully measuring my glove size using the Damascus Gear sizing chart and directions, I chose size medium. The gloves are too small and very uncomfortable. The fingers are very tight, and the edges of the stitched fabric inside are extremely uncomfortable. Also, while the cardboard packaging says they're made with a premium cowhide leather, the actual label in the gloves says "45% synthetic leather." So while the packaging says they're fire resistant, will the synthetic parts be fire resistant?

I got this because the NRA hunting safety course recommended this type of kit. It is very well made with a thick plastic outer bag that should be very durable in the field.
