After much research I decided on this model to get into SWLing. I am very happy with my decision as it is a very good radio with many features that I like. I ordered an additional ANT-60 Portable Shortwave Reel Antenna not knowing that it already comes with one in the box. I'm OK with having an extra though as I plan to keep this radio for a long time and if something happens to the reel or something I am already covered for an acceptable price. OpticsPlanet had the best price by far and the customer service was stellar when I called to get some help on my order.
