Bright, But No 5 Star

This is a bright little flashlight that appears to be well made. The rechargeable feature is good and it remains to be seen how long the batteries can be recharged. Disappointed in its albility to project its beam. The literature mentions it can reach out to a couple hundred meters- no way! You will notice the beam is immediately dispersed when deployed. IMO the multiple features are too complicated to manipulate in the dark. And that's when you need a good flashlight--in the dark.

Wonderfull Budget Binos

Review for
Vortex Diamondback 10x42mm Binoculars
What a pleasant surprise! Currently own 7x30 Swro binos that I thought were pretty good. Well the 10 power & larger 42mm objective make a lot of difference. The Vortex are clear & crisp and are easy to hold. The price is very reasonable for these binos. Planning on looking at the 12x50 Razors again. They do have better ergos & a much larger price tag.

Check The Red Dot Size Before You Buy

Not having practical experience with this optic, this is a limited review. Construction and appearance indicates quality. However after looking through the lens, I was surprised how small the red dot appears. Since this is my first Red Dot I realize there is a learning curve. I believe this 2 MOA Red Dot is more suitable as a rifle optic. I will shop and research for a larger dot, perhaps a 6 or more for a carbine.
