If you're trying to save a few bucks on your build, this is great qd end plate that works and is 1/2 the price of some other "big name" brands out there. I have three of them on different platforms and they all grip the sling socket well.....lightweight too!

item works just fine and is a great price! No need to spend over $30 for a "name brand" piece. Just make sure you install it correctly or it won't hold the qd insert. There is a "front" and "back" to it. For those who say it doesn't work, you need to remove it and turn it around

After discussing my Leopold VXII 2-7x33 scope with Flir/Armasight, I was told to buy this mounting system (#2) because the OD of my scope's objective piece was 39mm. Unfortunately, the two sleeve inserts that came with it would NOT fit correctly! One was too thin and left the scope too loose in the mount; the other was too thick and the scope couldn't be inserted into the mount. Fortunately, I had a bag full of inserts from my original purchase of the Armasight CO-MR device years ago. With a little sizing and trimming, I actually found a sleeve insert that was in the middle, thickness wise, and it fit the scope perfectly. The sleeve inserts are hit or miss with Armasight, as another reviewer mentioned, and you sometimes need to be creative. I wish they would ship out more inserts with each purchase in case someone runs into this problem with his/her particular scope

Fits my Prostaff perfectly. Easy to install, not heavy, and makes magnification changes very easy. Unfortunately, all of these brand-name throw levers are overpriced for a small piece of aluminum ring, IMO, but they definitely do work

Heavy duty leather and stitching...easily holds 10 cartridges of .375 H and H securely, as advertised. Expectedly, the leather is a little "stiff" at first, but breaks in with wear and use. I suspect periodic leather conditioner will help too.

Has enough room for batteries, keys, even a spare cartridge or two if necessary. Seems to seal tightly. Still need some more time and field exposure to see if the attachment mechanism will be durable. Construction of the main compartment is solid

Nice addition for carrying batteries and small keys. My only concern is the locking mechanism, which appears a bit flimsy. No problems so far, but I wonder if it will pop open when snagged on a branch, for example

Bought this scope for a large-bore rifle, which will be used primarily for shots < 200 yds on big game. Scope is lightweight, easy to mount and zero, and does what I want it to do: quick target acquisition without having to mess with adjustments. Of course, I use other scopes for different purposes, smaller game, longer shots, etc. Again, it's not something to use for every situation, but it's the right magnification and function for a specific mission.

I've used caliber-specific laser bore sighters before, and they work well to help with initial sighting of the scope. However, you need to keep several of them around to fit your various firearms. Plus, you need to insert them into the chamber and then get them out. This consolidates your equipment into one piece, saving space in your gun cabinet for more important items. I've attached it to multiple weapons, threaded barrels, flash hiders, etc and it works as advertised. Pops on, pops off...how simple can you get?

First off, the unit is very difficult to strap on tightly to the barrel. It moves back and forth between shots and you can get 200-300fps variations! Second, you will waste lots of ammo trying to correct the various error codes that pop up for no reason. Correct one error, and another pops up! I burned through 30 rounds and gave up. Couldn't trust the 4 readings I did get off of it. A wasted hour at the range. Oh well, at least the scope got sighted in!
