I bought this case for a spotting scope, a straight Vortex Viper HD 15-45x65. This case was a perfect fit. If the case with the scope gets thrown around, or if things get piled up in on it in the truck, the scope will be just fine. The pick and pluck foam was easy to use.

I purchased this Penn US Senator 113N to wench grouper and snapper up from the bottom of the northern Gulf of Mexico. The reel is very smooth and much smoother than the cheaper Special Senator reels that have graphite frames. And yes, the reel hauls in the fish.
