Good Modular sporting pistol case

Plano AW XL Pistol Case, 20.75In
This case holds 2 different pistol uppers, reflex sights, the pistol lower assorted magazines and small tools, in a unit that matches the Plano carbine case that holds the modular sporting rifles. I cut a piece of heavy cardboard with handles on either side to mount the upper foam that is cut out for the lower module. The 2 uppers are in cut outs below. The locks are the same as the rifle case, and hold securely. The case material may be just heavy enough to be TSA compliant. The internal foam is not of a heavy type, so heavy components tend to crush it, therefore 4 stars for overall rating.

Bought this for Modular Sporting Firearm build in .223/5.56 and .22LR dedicated uppers. Worked great. Took a chance as test firing was after return period. Clarity very good both indoor and outdoor ranges. Mount solid in both calibers. Image adjusted well in bright and dim lighting. Battery life seems good but now need to stock up on the special batteries for this.

Gerber Diesel Multi-Plier
I have 3 of these. One is my every day carry and feel naked without it. Another in my Otis military gun cleaning service kit. Third in drawer in case one is lost. It services almost everything I might need to do. Quick tighten a phillips head screw, cut a wire, pry open a can lid, grip something with pliers jaws, use pliers nose to open a stubborn knot in a rope. This and my pocket knife are always on board for immediate use.

CMMG 22LR Mk4 Barrel Kits w/ Bolt Group
When I bought my M&P 15, the owner of the gun store said I could get a conversion kit that was a new magazine and a bolt carrier. So I shot some 5.56 and thought maybe I should look into .22lr! Less bang noise, ammo co$t, less wear on 70 year old body. Did some reading, there are some drawbacks of using .22lr through a 1:7 twist barrel. Made decision to do dedicated upper. Reading recommended getting barrel and bolt together from same company. CMMG and Optics Planet filled the bill. Great products, great service. To end the story, finished assembly with all parts, test fired, and it runs absolutely amazing. Now I have 2 caliber guns under 1 serial number. If you're going to build a dedicated upper this is the part to get.

Del-Ton AR-15 Upper Receiver Parts Kit
As the title states, this piece is complete, machined well and the black finish is flawless. Be careful with the "C" clip that has to snap onto the dust cover shaft. Used this receiver as basis for dedicated 22lr upper build. I will definately use one this kit if I ever build another upper.
