I ordered this case based on a brand recommendation from a friend, though he based his rec on the 'Urban Warfare' case. Mostly, I wanted something that would accommodate the longer ARs I've been building lately as well as a new bolt-action build that came in at just over 42" OAL. My long-serving 36" case wasn't going to cut it for any of those guns without some serious finagling.

The price and purported features were right on this case and it's offered in numerous lengths to accommodate most full-size rifles/carbines, so it seemed like the right call.

Now that it's arrived, I can say that I'm genuinely impressed. The case arrived in an enormous box since they don't fold them prior to shipping - the main body of the case is supported by what seems like a super stiff base material covered on both sides with closed cell foam, so folding was likely a no-go anyway. Materials and stitching are definitely a cut above Condor, Voodoo and other manufacturers in this space. The main compartment has a removable foam divider and four velcro tie-down straps per side - two main ones that are fixed and two that are movable to secure the butt and barrel of your rifles. Beyond that, you have a middle compartment on the 'front' of the case that will easily accommodate four full-size pistols (each in their own pocket) and an additional top compartment that has multiple velcro-secured internal pockets - perfect for jamming your mags and other small gear into.

While the 10/22 factory trigger isn't bad by any means, there's always room for improvement. The BX trigger is a well-priced drop-in upgrade that helps turn your plinker into a tack-driving machine. Pull weight drops to right around 3# and the break is near-perfect. For the price they're asking this is a no-brainer, particularly since it's literally a drop-in - no dissambly of your existing trigger pack is necessary as it is with competing products - just remove a couple of pins, swap packs and then reassemble - total time is five minutes.
