I won a St Victor on auction and my fault, thought it came with the SB3 tactical brace like all the newer St Vincents come with as Spikes does not make the SBX-K anymore. Actually this works fine for me. Fits me well. I wanted a very compact weapon and this is certainly it. Might have been nice to have the adjustment but that might be one more thing that can get loose. This AR pistol is tight as a drum and the brace is a very compact 6 inches long-works for me. In 300 AAC it is the CQB weapon I wanted. I could buy a Spikes SB3 if I wanted it but for me not needed.
I looked for quite a while for something to carry my 7.62 bullpup in that was not too big, yet still had room for a handgun and ammo. This case fit my needs at this price point. My weapon, with an OEM muzzle brake measures 28.5 inches exactly and fits this case exactly. What I am saying is that if my weapon was 29" long it would be poking into the edges so do not think your 30" bullpup will fit in this one. Otherwise again, at this price point it is well made with good strong zippers and seams. No doubt about it, a 30 caliber bullpup looks just what it is-an urban street fighting assault weapon. When in this case however, it could be an overnighter or a salesman's sample case. What you see in the stock photo is just what mine looks like in this case & as you can see, room enough for a handgun and a couple of boxes of ammo along with the weapon, in the top cover pouch, or the additional outside pocket. All I can say research what you need & keep looking. It pays off & you will find what you want. If I wanted to really pack it I could get a second AR pistol in this case.
I bought this mount for a newly purchased SKS because my old eyes just no longer do well without a scope. Opening the box I was impressed with the machining and the construction of this mount, especially for the price. Maybe I just got lucky but the mount slid right into place on the receiver of the SKS with no filing or adjustment needed at all. In other words it fit like a glove. With the 4 set screws I do not think holding zero is going to be a problem at all. True, can't use a stripper clip for loading with this receiver cover but for the blessing of having a scope to shoot with that is minor to me. As advertised, the tunnel through the pic rail lines me up perfect with the ramp & post sights so if I need to shoot with the iron sights for an off hand shot, then no problem. Thanks Optics Planet, you have not steered my wrong yet
I have had a large black pair of these for at least 15 years I forget exactly when I got them. They are the only gloves I would ever wear for hunting or a combat situation when I need to be prepared to shoot at any time. For me they are a perfect compromise of a good feel on the trigger yet some comfort for my hands in the cold. These are the only gloves I have ever found that do that. If I ever buy another pair I might try the extra large as the large are a bit snug but my preference would be the snug fit and keep the good finger dexterity.
The only downside is that it is very compact so make sure your rifle allows it. A one-piece scope mount will not work. Otherwise for the price the optics are great. Get high mounts, especially if you are using a pic rail. The quality of this scope is what I would expect from one costing $100s more. I have put a couple of thousand 30 caliber rounds through a rifle with this scope and nothing has shaken loose yet.
