I coupled this with an Armaspec Stealth Recoil Spring, a Limbsaver Recoil pad and a Hogue AR-15/M-16 Rubber Grip and it was a total wrecking ball! It has about the same recoil as a 20 gauge shotgun but well short of a 12 gauge 3" magnum. Currently using just flip-up iron sights and debating what kind of optics I should use it with but right now I can pretty much hit anything I can see with it out to 175 yards.

Hogue Beavertail Rubber Grip

Heavy (not talking about weight), firm yet rubbery construction and very well made.
The beavertail design protects the webbing of my hand while offering a positive grip and molds itself to the contours of my hand perfectly. I now own 3 of them for: 7.62 x 39, 458 SOCOM and 50 Beowulf platforms. I will be ordering at least 2 more shortly. They're so comfortable I almost feel embarrassed to be seen using them.
It would be nicer if it came with the screw and lock washer but that's not enough of a minus to detract from the overall pricepoint or performance.

Outstanding item. Great price ($154.49). Fit and finish were excellent. Built with an Aero Precision upper and lower and a Stag Arms BCG. No feeding problems That particular build is fast becoming my favorite pig rig.
