This knife is another great product from Kershaw. I have tried several different Kershaw models over the last few months and the Grid is one of the best for not a lot of money. Easy to open smooth speed safe operation, sharp blade, slim design and solid feel. Does not have a deep pocket carry clip but this is not important to me.

Odd opening action. The flipper is too small and the blade will not fully deploy unless pointed down of assisted with some additional wrist action. I tried to "adjust" it but did not make much difference. The reason I think it is odd is because the blade deploys very very easy. It just doesn't fully deploy with the flipper. Not worth the $45 I paid. I have other cheaper knives that seem to have better quality.

I have decided to try inexpensive EDC folders. The Grinder is a sub $20 knife and I am quite impressed. The speed safe flipper is quick, the knife is sharp and the gimping is solid. It will be interesting to see how it retains an edge, given the type of steel.
