Budget friendly with good features and clarity

This is my 1st scope, fitted to an Aero AR-10. Being a first timer I can't say I'd notice the difference between this and a $2000 scope, but for what I spent I am happy with the lens clarity and feel of the turret clicks. The included throw lever is also a nice addition but it shouldn't be a "we threw this in, be happy"... I expected a throw lever since my Strike Eagle 1-6x24 has an integrated throw lever.
I didn't like the ancient feeling rubber caps that cap with it so I spent the extra $50 and got flip caps, definitely a nice upgrade that reduces the need to "fiddle" with those stupid rubber band ones (but not worth knocking a star).

Aero Precision Ultralight 34mm Scope Mount
Didn't need anything crazy "strong" since this went on a long range rifle that doesn't get carried around in the bush. Easy to mount, came with a little torx driver (not a torque wrench though). Got it torqued to 15 in-lbs and it has held up well for the few rounds I've fired with it on.
The strange thing is when mounting it you actually need to set your scope slightly off level (left low) - because as you torque down the rings the scope rotates to the right because of the ring/bolt orientation. Not the best design which made mounting it finicky and had to adjust it several times before the scope was level at 15 in-lbs.
