Alumina Flipback Objective Lens Covers
Written on Jan 08, 2024
Superiority at its best, No other lens cover I’m aware of compare with these. Screw in securely to scope with no obstruction of view or making ocular or objective ends of scope wider. (Doesn’t diminish clearance). Covers fold down on scope body allowing full view on the outside of the scope (this matters especially on moving targets-running deer). No noise when opening or closing. Last but not least they last forever- cold weather doesn’t make the brittle like plastic. OP had the best prices.
Everything I said about these is pretty much the opposite of the cheap plastic ones.

Leupold flip back lens covers

Review for
Leupold Alumina Flipback Lens Cover
There are huge advantages to using these lens covers in my experience.
When open they fold flat on top of the scope so you can look at your target when mounting your gun up to your shoulder and your view isn’t blocked with a cover sticking up in the air.
You can also mount the scope as low as possible without the concern your slip on cover won’t fit. (I have literally ground off the bottom of plastic covers to make them fit-then they loose tension)
There is zero obstruction when looking through the scope.
Fantastic quality built to last.
