This thing is a lifesaver! I'm a farmer and I got the ATN ThOR 5 XD (with the laser rangefinder, so worth it!) to help keep an eye on my livestock, especially at night and in bad weather. Just the other week, we had a pea-souper of a fog roll in and I lost track of a couple of newborn calves. I was frantic! But with this scope, and its amazing thermal sensor, I was able to locate them huddled together in a thicket. The image was crystal clear even in that thick fog – I could even make out their little ears twitching! Seriously, it was like magic.

Being able to actually see in the dark and through the fog has been game-changing for me. The ballistic calculator is helpful too, not for shooting (obviously!) but for judging distances to my animals when they’re way out in the pasture. The recoil activated video is another great feature. I don't use it for recoil, but I've set it up to start recording whenever it detects motion, so I can monitor for predators. The Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are handy for quickly sharing images and videos with the vet if there's a problem. It's a little pricey, but honestly, the peace of mind it gives me is priceless. This scope is an invaluable tool for any livestock manager.
