Great budget handguard
Written on Jun 27, 2018
Review for
AIM Sports Inc AR/M4 MLOK Handguard
This is easiest handguard I have ever installed. The low-profile barrel nut allows clearance to the gas tube in any position, so that it doesn't have to be "clocked". You can therefor put the exact torque you want on the nut. The clamp-on design also means not clocking is required to put fasteners through the handguard and into the nut. The little ears that interface with the upper receiver ensure proper alignment of the picatinny rails. The black finish is slightly shinier than the upper I used, but that is a minor complaint.

Can't go wrong with Vortex
Written on Jun 26, 2018
I own a couple of these scopes. The glass is clear, the reticle is crisp, the eye relief is good. The Vortex VIP warranty is second to none, although I have never had the occasion to use it. What more can I say? These are a great value, and when they are on sale - they are a steal!!

Great mag for 7.62 x 39
Written on Jan 09, 2018
After doing some research, I found these had the best reviews. This mag functioned flawlessly on my son's new 7.62 x 39 Bear Creak Arsenal AR upper. Cartridges load just like 5.56. Feed very smooth - never a failure to feed. We did have some failure to fires, but that was the cheap Tul ammo. Top quality steel mag - highly recommended.

Great inexpensive bipod
Written on Jul 12, 2016
Review for
Vanguard Equalizer 1QS Bipod - 10in
This bipod is very flexible, in more ways than one. It has the spring, which allows you to not only pan or traverse the gun, but also tilt it to some degree, so you don't have to shift the bipod if your target moves off of the ideal line. You can tighten or loosen the spring to reduce the amount of tilt to you liking. Also, it comes with a mount to adapt to your sling swivel AND a picatinny rail mount. I have 2 of these bipods, and mounts on 2 ARs using the picatinny mount and 3 bolt guns using the sling swivel mounts. You can buy the mounts separate for what ever gun you need it on. I bought an extra sling swivel mount for my other bolt gun. I just install the bipod on whatever gun I'm using at the time. Sure is a lot cheaper than having 5 bipods!

Great for young hunters

Caldwell Orange Peel 12-in Turkey Targets
I like the reactive style targets for my son. After I pattern his gun, I let him practice on these, so he can get feedback on hi aiming technique. I set these targets at various ranges so he can get an idea of where he needs to aim and what the maximum effective range of his shot is.

Good scope for the money
Written on Jul 09, 2015
I bought this scope to put on my .450 Bushmaster AR build. Took it to the range and was surprised at how clear the optic is. I think the AO really helps - I won't buy another scope without AO! If you want a decent scope without paying an arm and a leg, this is the one.

Excellent glass
Written on Mar 18, 2015
Wow, I am extremely pleased with this scope. I put it on my Ruger American Ranch Rifle in .300 blackout - it almost dwarfs that gun! when I took it to the range recently, the guys were wanting to look at it. They were floored when I told them what I paid! This is my first AO scope, and what a difference! I just ordered another Mueller (different model) for my AR in .300 blackout. Cant wait to get that one!

Locks up great!
Written on Feb 16, 2015
I bought these to go on my AR in .300 BLK, paired with a Mueller 4-16 scope. Although I haven't' shot with these yet, they seem to lock up great on the rail and hold the scope tight. I don't see these coming loose. I will update this review once if have visited the range!
