The SRO Red Dot is a hands on easy piece of equipment. I mounted it on my New Daniel Defense .556 with ease. with both eyes open you get a sense of one with the optic. Clarity and function is enhanced to the max. I took it to a range outside and felt as if I couldn't miss. distance as well as close up is not a problem. Functions of the red dot is easy to master. I presently own a C More, Vortex Razor, Aim Point. The SRO is in competition with each. I cannot say it is better, just part of the positive process of Gunning.
