Length works, but the pockets are a joke unless you have vertical mags. I wouldn't recommend it for anything with a curved magazine. I can't even close the pockets. Will not work for AK or extended magazines.

I purchased this because of the low price. However, I couldn't even get my rifle zero'd with it before the batteries that came with it died. I'd switch positions on the batteries, and it would work for a little bit, but no more than 15-20 seconds after I put it in the chamber and started to zero, batteries would die again.
Quality control for batteries is VERY sub par. Not only that, the battery size didn't match any of my other bore sigters for other calibers.

I don't get out to shoot to often, but it was easy to mount and has held up pretty well so far. I've got no complaints and held zero fine on my AK. I'd highly recommend it over many other 'low budget' red dots.

There was no real suggestions on how to mount this besides it would need some 'filing' so, if you cannot get the measurements right, or you file the button too big, you're out the money. I'm fairly handy, and tried to compare it to my dust cover I was replacing with measurements and wasn't off by very much and still failed to get it to snap into place. I'm not going to attach wires or rubber-bands to MAKE it fit using guerrilla gunsmithing. Do some research and try to find what sort of mounts are suggested and spend the extra 50+ bucks. Unless you're ok with some disappointment.
