Fm-45 5inch

Written on Apr 25, 2023

Just received my product today haven’t shot it yet. Leaving the review to let customers know the product pictured is incorrect. The picture shows a flush look handguard with two m lok slots, this is not what I received. I was sent a 3 inch handguard with only one m lok slot the barrel protrudes out the front about 2 inches. I ordered a hand stop before I received the upper thinking I would have two m lok slots and now it doesn’t fit. It is the correct product; foxtrot mike 45 acp upper with a 5 inch barrel and blast diffuser, but incorrect picture of the handguard.

Great battery but mirror image

Written on Sep 14, 2022

Great dot decent mount clicks are a little mushy but still tactile. The center dot is very bright. Bright enough for all sunny conditions but if you like the circle dot feature, which I do, the center dot is so bright it makes the ring difficult to see. Also the ring pictured in the photo is not the ring the actual ring on the dot. The dot has a circle with four crosshair hash marks. I like the circle with hash marks better this I was happy about. There is a double mirror image in the dot if you hold your head to the left of and lean forward I can get a clear image of what’s behind me. Very distracting. If it continues to be a nuisance I will contact the manufacturer

Good cheap red dot

Written on May 02, 2022

Good little red dot holds zero just daylight bright enough. Clicks are decent enough to make adjustments. They are a little mushy as to be expected with the price. But as far as the price vs quality it is worth the money. Far better than any firefield or nc star or other cheap-o brand. The reason for four stars is the illumination is only just daylight bright. Also while cycling through the brightness settings it will start you back over at setting one once you reach the top so you have to count the settings yourself. Green is a little brighter in daylight. I would rank this sight below the quality of the sig Romeo msr but far above the quality of the cheap-o brands and at a cheap-o brand price. Good budget red dot. Plus as a bonus crimson trace does free batteries for life

Cheaper leaper

Written on Apr 01, 2022

You get what you pay for. These rings work ok except for the fact they loosen with use and you have to retighten them every time you come home from the range. Also idk what happened but they peeled the hard coat anodize on one of my rifles off in both spots I had the rings mounted. Makes my very nice rifle look very bad. Literally peeled the coating down to the silver metal. Moral of the story buy once cry once I will never get these again and I am now purchasing one piece cantilever mounts to replace the two sets of these rings I own.

Disappointed

Written on Mar 01, 2022

Super clear sight picture and was almost spot on right out of the box at ten/ twenty five yards. Only about two inches low but right in line with bullseye and good groups. About twenty five to thirty rounds in, screws to mounting plate come loose and dot is way off. I tightened the screws and did some more sighting in but dot seems to jump and groups are loose with flyers. I will try again on my next round to range with loctite and lock the sight in after my clicks to see if it holds zero better. Clicks are very mushy. Also terrible up and down arrow placement you have to put your finger/fingers in the line of sight to adjust the setting. Had I known this before hand I would not have purchased it. This was used on an ak.

Fit well on zpapm70

Written on Jul 13, 2021

Easy to install. Slides right on the factory rail on zastava zpapm70. Not always the case with the world of aks. Easy to tighten and loosen the clamp which is a quick disconnect. Solid construction 6061 aluminum good optic mount

Excellent sight picture small amount of bleeding

Written on May 14, 2021

Crisp red dot. Almost zero color and magnification distortion. Only small amount of magnification noticeable at close quarters (like 10 ft away). Very bright dot absolutely daylight bright. The top settings do bleed out and cause streaks in the field of view but these settings are not needed really it’s plenty bright enough on the lower setting. The cons-no picatinny mount included. For 400 they should include the mount. Also there is no mounting pattern that matches the Romeo 1 pro. It’s listed as the same as delta point pro but this is not true. The delta point pro has two small indentions in the front of the sight the Romeo does not have, thus I couldn’t mount it on my fn 509 tactical like I wanted. But it sits beautifully on an iwi Uzi pro and my second one is fde and is on an fde kriss vector-the colors match perfectly by the way. Had to buy two separate mounts, one for each- an extra 170$.

Center dot disappeared

Written on May 05, 2021

I wrote a review after I sighted it in at the range, first time using it. Not three weeks later after it had done nothing but sat in the same range bag I took it to the range in I took it out and looked through it, looked fine to me, I handed it to my wife to look through and she watched the center dot disappear. Literally said “ hey the dot went away in the middle” I took it back cycled through the reticle options and no center dot. Sad day. I called holosun they said to take out the battery and leave it in a dark room for an hour then put the battery back in and see if that works. If not you’ll have to send it in for warranty repair. I tried their suggestion it didn’t work j now have to send back my ONE time used sight, only 60 rounds at best, holosun ELITE sight back in for work.......not cool. Hopefully they fix the problem

Great rings but I would go cheaper and qd

Written on Apr 21, 2021

Got these to pair with my zeiss conquest 1-4x24 zqar 62. Really just wanted zeiss rings for my zeiss scope on my German rifle. Which I am happy I have but the rings are fully torqued and not set evenly on both sides. There is a small gap between the top and bottom ring on my front ring on the left side. Which could just be my fault. But to be honest next time I would get a solid one piece qd mount for around the same price for American defense or even cheaper with other brands. I love my combo once again I basically bought for name brand purposes. As far as the rings go they are top quality solid 7075 t6 construction and solid screws. Comes with two torx bits that fit right in my wheeler engineering fat torque wrench which was a huge plus. Also comes with hard plastic case

Decent budget setup

Written on Mar 31, 2021

Red dot is good, on par with what you should expect for the price as far as dot quality I.e. the dot is blurry. But far above par in terms of build quality and the dot is definitely daylight bright. I like that you can see through the lenses I leave them down and can use it still. Now to the magnifier....it took a while to find a suitable setup where I did not have to strain my neck to get proper eye relief. But that’s not because the eye relief is bad, it’s actually decent, it’s because the magnifier is so small. The holosun and vortex magnifiers are longer and stick out further causing less head movement. And I have long arms so I like my stocks extended. I now have it setup on my kriss vector carbine behind a holosun hs510c- great setup. The kriss vector has enough space to comfortably shoot with the stock collapsed. Perfect for the short magnifier. The Juliet micro has a crisp sight picture and I like that the button on the flip mount is in the back. it’s easier to flip with my left hand so I dont have to move my trigger hand. I can press the button with my thumb. I like the flip mount button on this better than the vortex magnifier. The vortex magnifiers button is in the front closer to the red dot which means it is my index/middle finger pressing the button with my left hand, this process is slower than the sig Juliet micro. The cons- msr red dot does get blurry when used with a magnifier so I just let it sit alone on a ksg. The magnifier only comes with the setup for a
