My previous review noted battery drain issues. And others also see battery issues. But I like this physical design. It’s nice and Holosun is quality gear. I found the water proof aluminum battery cap was coming into contact with the positive battery terminal. This sets up a redox reaction at the junction of the aluminum cap and steel battery terminal and drains the magic electrons from the battery. Sure enough the anodized surface on the aluminum cap was becoming discolored. So I cut a little circle of backing film from a sticker and placed it in the cap. No issues now with battery drain. I went to engineering school and I’m stubborn. I’ll give it 4 stars for design and compact solid body. They should fix the small detail in the cap with a dielectric material like I did. Easy fix.

Something drains the battery while laser is off. A circuit flaw of some sort that is parasitic to the power supply. The battery is accessible while installed but you need to pull battery while stored. Otherwise I really like this physical design and laser. It is bright green and solid body and compact. The solid body gives it rigidity and a stable beam after use. But you need to pull the battery out after use. This negates EDC use except for planned range use to ensure light is available. Sad, but I like it for range.
