So far so good but you get what you pay for.

I haven't fired with it yet or anything but I've played with it a lot. My biggest disappointment with it is that there are 2 buttons on the remote but they both do the same thing, turn the system on. If you use the buttons on the body of the device to turn both the light and the laser on then the pressure pad will work for both, but always at the same time. There's no way to have the laser on constant and strobe when needed from the pressure pad. Beyond that, it's bright enough to do its job and the laser seems to zero.

Binds when spring is fully compressed.

Spring gets bound in the buffer tube. I could have just gotten a bad one, but I'll stick with aeroprecision in the future, I think. The locking nut is wider then any of my others as well and doesn't spin quite as smoothly. I matched it with a luth-ar stock on a 9mm carbine and the stock is about the same quality. Sometimes functional with heavy faults.

Total disappointment.

They don't close as the other reviews suggest.. They look alright, even if a little cheap. Expected better from Hera Arms. Color correct but again non-fitment kills it. Lettering is a touch blurry and the molding points are all extremely visible. Seems too short and flat or something.

Looks neat. Does not feed properly

Written on Jun 21, 2021

Makes a neat weapon stand but my rifle won't cycle more than 2 rounds at a time with these mags. Spring tension out of spec or something. Looks cool if you're not a purist but that's about it unfortunately. May try and replace the springs with another brand or something, idk yet.

Does what it's intended to do with one major drawback

Written on Jun 07, 2021

I got this thing because my last spring was way to long and noisy for my pistol build. It's the perfect length and it feels nice and smooth and quiet in comparison. That said, it is not compatible with folding adapters. The adapter's Bcg extension will bind immediately, you cannot charge and it will not cycle. Had to remove the folding adapter which was a bummer.

Does not cycle on my setup

Written on May 26, 2021

A 10.5in 300blk barrel with a linear compensator and adjustable gas lock pushing 215grain freedom seeds. Ejects about 35% of the time but does not feed the next round because the spring is too stiff to allow the Bcg to clear the mag on gas pressure alone. Excessively heavy spring tension makes it a workout to even charge.. Will be trashing this spring and buffer for something else.

Aggressive skeltonized pistol grip.

Feels great, nice weight.. Have it on a project pistol setup. I used a swivel socket to drive the mounting screw easily. Has a cool aggressive look and feel. No complaints other than it is slightly heavier than expected.
