This sheath is only for the smaller sf shovel. I tested it on the larger trench shovel and the seams held up well.No damage done to sheath but it was a very tight fit. Way too short to accomodate the spetnatz trench shovel. It is of good construction and should have no issues carrying the smaller sf shovel that it was designed for.

It is relatively lightweight for its size. It is comfortable to wear for prolonged periods. Easy to adjust the size. Very effective at blocking out sound.It did not interfere with maintaining cheek to stock.

For those who own an AR15 with a carbine length gas system with a front sight base, this is a great value upgrade to the mil spec black handguards. Compared to the Magpul MOE handguard this allows you to continue to use your front sling mount, provides a built in handstop near the front base so those who use the c clamp grip to avoid getting burned by the FSB. For more traditional grips there is also a handstop on the bottom of the handguard. It has the same 3 mlok slots at 2:00, 10:00 and 6:00 positions as the Magpul MOE but it also has 3 more mlok slots at the 12:00 position. There is also a barricade stop built into the mold. High vale

This is a very flexible design. It can be easily converted to be installed on the right or left. Works well from 12 oclock, 1 oclock and 11oclock positions on my handguard. Excellent machining and finish. Price is reasonable for the quality. Lightweight and durable.
