This scope has blown me away. It has everything you could want in a precision 22lr optic. The sheer amount of features in this optic is outstanding. The illumination is good, the side focus adjustment is extremely handy, the self locking turrets work well, it comes with a killflash, lens covers, and we're not even to the best parts yet. This reticle is everything I wanted, with nothing I didn't want. The rangefinder portions are simple and easy to use (just fit on known 9" target and shoot), just like the rest of the reticle itself. The glass quality is also outstanding. I would go as far as saying it compares to the other big names in the scope game, but no other scopes that I am aware of in this price range can compare to the glass clarity of the Shepherd. I mounted this to a Christensen Arms Ranger 22, and I couldn't be happier with the package. I'm shooting sub moa groups fairly consistently with bulk ammo at 100 yards. When I do have a flyer it might stretch the group out to 1-1.25". I'm thrilled with how this scope performs. The only thing I'm going to add is a magnification throw lever. If you're looking for a quality optic for a precision 22, look no further, you will not be disappointed by this one.
